Authentication Issues​

Unable to Sign In​

  • Cause: Incorrect Google account or session timeout.
  • Solution:
    1. Verify you're using the correct Google account.
    2. Clear your browser's cache and try signing in again.
    3. Ensure your browser is up-to-date.

Invalid API Key​

  • Cause: API key is missing or entered incorrectly.
  • Solution:
    1. Make sure you have an active CustomGPT.ai subscription.
    2. Retrieve your API key from CustomGPT.ai Profile.
    3. Copy and paste it into the "Account Settings" page.

Content Generation​

Incomplete Research Report​

  • Cause: Topic complexity or insufficient sources.
  • Solution:
    1. Refine your topic to be more specific.

Missing Citations in Output​

  • Cause: Citation might have been used previously.
  • Solution:
    1. None (citations are not repeated if used previously)

Irrelevant Images​

  • Cause: Images might not be contextually relevant
  • Solution:
    1. Delete or replace the image manually.

Images in Different Language​

  • Cause: The topic language is used and is given preference.
  • Solution:
    1. Delete or replace the image manually. (Images in the language of the topic are given preference but may not always be in the same language)

Topic and Input Issues​

Broad or Unfocused Topics​

  • Cause: Input is too general, leading to inadequate or unfocused results.
  • Solution:
    1. Refine your topic using the Topic Best Practices Guide.
    2. Use the topic formula: [Main Topic]: [Specific Aspect] + [Context/Time Period/Industry].

Output Issues​

Overlapping Sections in Research Report​

  • Cause: Similar subtopics causing redundant content.
  • Solution:
    1. Manually merge overlapping sections during post-editing.
    2. Refine your topic to avoid redundant queries.

Style Issues​

  • Cause: Output is not in your style or intended format (e.g. APA)
  • Solution:
    1. Clearly specify style, tone and formats in the "Tone" settings.
    2. Include writing sample in your tone settings (Hint: Use Claude to generate a custom style)

Visual Enhancements Not Applied​

  • Cause: Vision-based image selection may not find matching visuals.
  • Solution:
    1. Manually upload and attach relevant images during post-editing.
    2. Provide clearer context in the topic input.

Performance​

Slow Processing Times​

  • Cause: High server load
  • Solution:
    1. Generate content during off-peak hours for faster processing.
    2. Upgrade to a premium plan (for priority processing, free plans have a system limit)

Notifications​

Missing Email Notification​

  • Cause: Email misdelivery or incorrect address.
